Tim Latham - Managing Director
I hold a BSc in Engineering from Bristol University and an MBA from Bath University School of Management. Additionally, I attended the Coopers & Lybrand / Harvard Business School International Executive Programme.
My career started as a Royal Air Force Officer, becoming a Squadron Leader at age 27 and then post MBA I joined a subsidiary of Shell (UK) to lead their consultancy marketing. I then joined what was then Coopers & Lybrand Executive Resourcing (latterly PricewaterhouseCoopers) and in 2000 decided to launch my own independent search consultancy.
I have been in professional recruitment since 1994 and specifically focused upon property recruitment since 2002. One real disappointment about traditional recruiters is their lack of sector knowledge / their inability to really know all of the ins and outs of their chosen sector. Even an army of researchers cannot really crack the issue as they are outsiders.
I decided to develop the concept behind Prefio.com in order to address that issue of knowledge of a sector and its players. So Prefio.com offers its clients "the most brainpower in property recruitment" - by definition you can't get better knowledge than that of lots of insider practitioners.
